1. Who We Are

RAGS-POS is a restaurant management software product built and operated by RAGSPRO (ragspro.com), based in New Delhi, India. We provide point-of-sale, order management, kitchen display, and billing software to restaurants across India.

2. What Data We Collect

    Account data: Restaurant name, owner name, email address, phone number.

    Operational data: Menu items, table configurations, orders, bills, staff accounts.

    Customer data: Customer names and phone numbers (only if you enter them for CRM).

    Usage data: Login times, feature usage, browser type — for debugging and improvement.

    Payment data: We do not store card numbers. Payments are processed by third-party gateways.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • — To operate and maintain your RAGS-POS account.
  • — To generate bills, reports, and GST summaries for your restaurant.
  • — To send you account-related emails (password resets, subscription notices).
  • — To improve our product based on aggregate usage patterns.
  • — We do NOT sell your data to third parties. We do NOT use your data for advertising.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers located in India. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — we never store plaintext passwords. Access to production databases is restricted to authorized personnel only.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and do not request deletion, we retain data for 90 days before permanent deletion. You may request immediate deletion by emailing us.

6. Your Rights

  • — Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
  • — Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • — Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • — Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics that identify individual users. You may disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from logging in.
